Reflecting the experience of the many users during Ropes That Rescue Ltd. workshops, and CMC Rescue School classes, the new AZ Vortex Multipod is the next evolution of the Arizona Vortex.

Named the "Multipod" because of its flexibility, the two-piece head can be rigged as a standard tripod, or in advanced applications, as an A-Frame, a sideways A-Frame, or a Gin Pole.

The "easel" leg allows the tripod to be leaned to form an easel A-Frame, placing anchor points closer to the cliff or stucture edge.

With adjustable leg lengths and a versatile third leg, te Mulitpod lets rescuers set up an artificial high directional in virtually any urban, industrial or wilderness location. The lighter Head Set and the lighter, more compact legs make the Multipod easier to transport.

On A-Frame and easel A-Frame applications, at least two pulleys can now be attached directly into the Head Set without carabiners, eliminating lost headspace and working clearance.

This double pulley feature makes the Multipod ideal for use with highlines and tracking line offsets.

The extra attachment points also work wellfor rope access where several lines may be needed over the edge.

Three different types of Vortex feet are available to provide secure footing on varying terrain.

Inside clearance in regular configuration: 9 ft.

Height (with additional legs): 12 ft.

System weight: 62 lbs (28.1kg)

The AZ Vortex Multipod comes without feet, allowing the user to select the Foot Set, or sets, that best meet their application.

Feet must be ordered separately.

Use without feet is not recommended.
